Shipping policy
All orders are processed Monday to Friday (excluding weekends and holidays) . You will receive an email notification when your order has shipped or is ready to collect from store.
We cannot be held responsible for any delays to orders that are beyond our control. If an order is placed and the Backorder time is longer than that displayed on the website, a member of our team will contact you.
Occasionally suppliers can run short of some items leading to extended back order times. If this happens we will contact you to discuss your order.
Stock Status
If you see “Availability” as “In Stock”, it’s on the shelf and if ordered before 14:00 Monday to Friday we will dispatch the same day.
For items not in stock but available for “back order” or “custom order” the “Availability message will show you how many days it will take until the item is dispatched.
Example “Availability – 3-4 days” your order will be placed and will arrive with us in an estimated 3-4 days, once Instock with us we will ship using your chosen method at checkout.
Click and Collect / In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at SAL Marine Lymington After placing your order and selecting Click & Collect at Checkout.
We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. For Instock items please allow 1-2 hours, for “Backorder” items please allow the specified time found next to product “Availability”.
Our in-store pickup hours are [9:00-16:00] on [Monday – Friday]. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
All orders will be held for 14 days before being returned to stock/supplier and a refund will be processed through the same payment methond used.
Failed delivery
Failed delivery, The Owner cannot be held responsible for delivery errors due to inaccuracies or incompleteness in the execution of the purchase order by the User, nor for any damages or delays after handover to the carrier if the latter is arranged by the User.
If the goods are not received or collected at the time or within the deadline specified, the goods will be returned to the Owner, who will contact the User to schedule a second delivery attempt or to agree on the future course of action.
Unless otherwise agreed, any delivery attempt starting from the second shall be at the User’s expense.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you have an account you can also login and check "my orders" for the order status and tracking number.
If you haven’t received your order within 5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at supportteam@salmarine.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Import dutys, taxes and charges
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. [SAL Marine Ltd] is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
Shipping to P.O. boxes
We do not ship to PO boxes currently.
